We decided to begin by setting up a £10,000 fundraiser for Cranogwen.
These organisations donated as well:
- Monumental Welsh Women: £35,000 (Cranogwen’s share of money given for the Hidden Heroines project)
- £10,000 from the Waterloo Foundation
- £5,000 from the Moondance Foundation
- £20,000 from the Welsh Government
We were advised by MWW that £50,000 would be an ideal amount for a life-sized representation.
